KAIDEC(Korea Association of International Development and
Cooperation) is the leading academic gathering of
thinkers and practitioners in international development cooperation in Korea.
KAIDEC invites papers for its 2024 Summer Conference in Seoul.
The KAIDEC 2024 Summer Conference centers
on the theme 'Beyond Boundaries, Beyond Targets, Beyond Aid.' It
facilitates discussions on universal coexistence, accountability, core values
reevaluation, and global collaboration. During this transformative period,
KAIDEC is committed to revisiting the foundational values that should guide
development cooperation, aiming to articulate the principles of the future we
envision. We welcome researches on the following themes:
Beyond Boundaries: Fostering Coexistence
through Development Cooperation for Peace, Democracy, and Equality,
Beyond Targets: Cultivating Accountability
and Global Collaboration for the SDGs,
Beyond Aid: Reimagining Accountability and
Coexistence Through Strategic ODA Enhancement
Guidelines
for Session Application and Paper Submission
Abstract Submission (200-300 Words): Submit a
comprehensive abstract detailing the title, objectives, background,
methodology, and (expected) research outcomes. For joint presentations,
identify the lead presenter.
All abstracts
will be reviewed by a Programme Committee prior to acceptance. Abstract submission and Queries should be emailed to kaidec21conference@gmail.com

Funding for International
Scholars
KAIDEC plans to provide hotel fees (two
nights) for selected international scholars. Please note that funding is
limited and only partial funding will be provided to the selected applicants.
